Loveland Pass Southeast Ridge - early June 1997, south side, 1.5" new powder over velvet granular/crushed ice mid morning, Chad's Chute, South wall, Dave's Wave all still Open, south wall snowfields interrupted by 5 foot rock outcrop at wall's foot, cornice breaking away down to 2-3 feet, won't last another two weeks

Loveland Pass Southwest Ridge - Steep walls on east side intact

Loveland Pass North Face - early June 1997, still very deep in troughs, getting rugged down towards US6

Independence Pass - North Saddle - Mid June 1997 - Routes from summit intact to highway - Likely to remain into July

Independence Pass - East Wall - Mid June 1997 - Several short snow fields remain, around 300 yards

Long's Peak Northwest Chutes
